Site Supervisor

Job Summary: A Site Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a construction or development project, ensuring it's completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. They manage teams, enforce safety regulations, monitor progress, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Ensuring the project aligns with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Team Management: Supervising and directing construction workers and subcontractors, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections, and identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Schedule Management: Monitoring project progress, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Resource Management: Managing materials, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are available when needed.
- Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
- Problem Solving: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the project and finding appropriate solutions.
- Training: Training new hires on safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Basic understanding of safe work practices and willingness to adhere to safetyregulations.
- Strong team work and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Previous experience in construction, oil/gas, or water/wastewater is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and operate basic equipment under supervision.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily performed outdoors at construction sites, waterways, or industrialfacilities.
- Exposure to water, mud, dust, and noise is common.
- May require working in confined spaces or near heavy machinery.
- Over time, weekend, or shift work may be required based on project needs.
